In order for TextArea Rich to function, it requires the following:

• Internet Explorer 5.5 or greater on a Windows PC. The editor unfortunately does not yet work on Mac or Netscape browsers.
  
  
• Javascript must be enabled on the client's browser.

TextArea Rich can be used with a variety of programming languages such as PHP, ASP, ASP.net, CGI, Perl and many more. It can also be used with many database types, such as mySQL, MsSQL, MS Access etc.
